This book is compiled on the basis of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System formulated by the World Customs Organization (WCO), combined with China's trade policies and other relevant policy provisions. To fulfill its obligations as a contracting party to the International Convention on the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System of the World Customs Organization, China has formulated the Import and Export Tariff of the People's Republic of China (2021) on the basis of the Harmonized System, which includes China's domestic tariff items and tariff rates and other contents. This book is applicable to the staff of customs authorities and import and export enterprises.
