This book includes guidelines for drafting the general conditions and particular conditions of the Conditions of Contract for Plant and Design-Build. It is recommended for use in projects involving the supply of electrical and/or mechanical plant, as well as the design and construction of buildings or engineering works. Under such contracts, it is standard practice for the contractor to design and provide the plant and/or other works in accordance with the employer’s requirements. These works may, however, comprise any combination of civil, mechanical, electrical and/or constructional works.
