This book collects a variety of rare Chinese and foreign language editions of Marx’s Wages, Price and Profit (also known as Value, Price and Profit). As an important work of political economy by Marx, this treatise briefly expounds several key principles in Das Kapital, illustrates the formation process of surplus value and the essence of wages, and reveals the secret of capitalist exploitation of the working class. Marx points out that the inherent nature of capitalists is to pursue maximum profits; only by constantly struggling for higher wages and shorter working hours can the working class curb the greed of capitalists. While profoundly demonstrating the necessity and importance of the working class waging economic struggles, Marx also points out the limitations of such struggles, and emphasizes the need to combine economic struggles with political struggles.
